FAQ'S

Q: How much will it cost to replace my equipment?

A: Equipment price is based on three factors:
Size: What will it take to heat or cool my home in BTU’s.
Brand: Each manufacture charges is different, some less others more.
SEER: (seasonal energy efficiency ratio). The higher the SEER the more you save on your utility bill the higher the cost for the equipment.

Q: Will I have cooling or heat after the tech leaves?

A: Our service trucks are stocked to handle most service related repair parts. Our goal is to fix it right the first time and not have to go back. We will do all with in our power to make you comfortable, as long as safety is not compromised.

Q: How often should I clean my air filter?

A: The best answer is every month. If you have a media type, it could be every six months to a year. Air flow, air flow, air flow think of it like this. With out good air flow we could not last long, so is true with the system.

Q: How soon can you come out?

A: We would like to come out in less than an hour. All companies have this problem, there are only so many calls that can be run in a day. We will try to get to you as soon as we can to solve your comfort needs. Contract customers have priority (they pay for this service), after that, it’s first come, first served, basis.

Q: I think I have a problem.

A: Then check:
Thermostat:
is the thermostat temperature set above or below room temperature?
is the thermostat in the correct mode to heat or cool?

Power:
has a circuit breaker tripped in the main circuit breaker box of the house?
has a circuit breaker tripped in the mechanical room or has the furnace power switch been turned off in the mechanical room?

Always check for these things before calling.

Q: I think I need to charge up my system, it is not cooling right. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

A: Residential heating and cooling equipment should not need to be charged. You as the home owner can continue to recharge your system, but it is better to repair than to have the leak. A leaking system will kill the compressor over time, once that happens you will have to replace.
